Event description

Join us for an important and informative evening.

Featuring talks by Luke Cook, who, with his wife, was sentenced to death in Thailand over an alleged failed bid to smuggle half a tonne of crystal meth through the country to Australia. After four years in multiple prisons throughout Thailand, they were exonerated of the charges on appeal in the Supreme Court of Thailand and returned to Australia;

and Linda Cho, Brisbane lawyer, who has recently returned from a three month placement with the Louisiana Capital Assistance Center, USA, where she worked on capital punishment cases.

This event will raise funds to enable JWMF to assist Australian lawyers work on capital punishment cases overseas.
