Living with Climate Change in Victoria
Description
The recent devastating floods in Nepal and Tibet were initiated by a huge avalanche of rock and ice from a melting Himalayan glacier – it was a dramatic illustration of the impact of climate change. But many of the effects of climate change are not so readily apparent.
Our latest issue of Science Victoria magazine explores the incremental nature of climate change, what you might call “climate change creep”, and the impact it is already having on Victoria’s bushland and along our coastlines.
Join us for an evening of discussion with some of the contributing authors for this issue – more details on the guest speakers will be released soon.
Ticket price includes light refreshments.
