Event description

Thanks to the generous support of Livingstone Shire Council, Future Anything is proud to bring the Big Ideas Challenge to Yeppoon once again!

The Big Ideas Challenge has been purposefully designed in collaboration with educators to engage young people in a fun and fast paced day of listening, learning and doing.

Taking a deep dive in to the critical issue of sun safety, students will hear from engaging guests including John Ferguson (Central Queensland Hospital & Health Service) and Crystal Newton (skin cancer prevention advocate). Students will tackle the following challenge: “As an enterprising leader, pitch a community led action project that will create sun safe environments and increase uptake of five sun safe behaviours.”
