The 10-track release features eight original songs and showcases Lizzie’s rich songwriting and luminous vocals, brought to life by a superb ensemble of strings and rhythm.

With these luminous opening lines, Wonderdust announces itself as an album of intimacy, atmosphere and emotional depth. The 10-track release from
& The Runaway Trains marks Lizzie's fourth studio album and her first with this particular combination of musicians.

A rich culmination of Lizzie’s journey as a songwriter and performer, Wonderdust showcases her gift for storytelling and her instinct for melody. Lovers of acoustic music will delight in the ensemble’s effortless ability to step across genres, moving lightly through Celtic folk, bluegrass and contemporary roots influences while maintaining a cohesive and distinctive sound.

Lizzie Flynn, the primary songwriter and vocalist, is joined by The Runaway Trains — Samuel De Santi (guitar, mandolin), Gareth Mewes (violin) and Benja King (double bass). Having performed together for several years leading up to this recording, the group brings a natural chemistry and intuitive interplay to every track.

Lizzie’s sumptuous voice sits front and centre, carrying songs that draw on timeless themes of love and longing, dreaming and nostalgia. Alongside her original material, the album features carefully chosen covers of songs by Gordon Lightfoot and Darrell Scott, reflecting Flynn’s deep respect for the songwriting tradition.

The Runaway Trains provide a rich and textured backdrop: Gareth Mewes and Benja King bring their deep grounding in jazz, adding warmth and fluidity, while Samuel De Santi contributes a strong folk and roots sensibility through guitar and mandolin. This talent is showcased in 2 instrumental tracks on the album. Completing the sonic landscape, Lisa Brennan’s backing vocals are thoughtfully sprinkled like magic stardust across the album.

Are you ready to dance? Amaidí is here to shake the walls with absolutely pumping tunes! Rooted in the rich traditions of Irish, Scottish, and Australian music, this four-piece band pushes the boundaries of neo-trad with electrifying energy, driving rhythms, and bold contemporary twists.  From blistering reels and powerhouse songs to soul-stirring ballads that stop time in its tracks, Amaidí plays music that is pure, heart-racing, and goosebump-inducing music. Whether it’s a rip-roaring trad set or a hauntingly beautiful song, their sound is fierce, fresh, and impossible to resist.

6pm PIPIN

Pipin, the musical project of Brisbane-based songwriter Bec Hoole, returns in 2026 in anticipation for her third EP, Spell, a stunning evolution in her sound that blends cosmic pop with personal storytelling. Written over three months whilst travelling the EP explores themes of innate feminine joy, heartbreak, and whimsy with vulnerability and resilience. Known for her energetic live performances, Pipin has shared the stage with acts like Ball Park Music, Middle Kids, Hatchie, and Asha Jefferies. Performing in intimate venues and at festivals like Woodford Folk Festival, Pipin’s live shows are an immersive experience—transcending the boundaries of genre and enveloping audiences in a magical cosmic pop universe.

Multi-award winning acoustic guitar virtuoso Michael Fix tours internationally presenting an eclectic mix of original instrumentals and distinctive arrangements.
