Lake Joondalup Baptist College presents The Wizard of Oz - fun for the whole family!

30 July to 1 August 2026

Step into a world of wonder as our talented students from Years 3 to 12 bring The Wizard of Oz to life on stage.

Follow Dorothy and her loyal companion Toto as they are whisked away to the magical Land of Oz. To find her way home, Dorothy must follow the Yellow Brick Road to the magnificent Emerald City and seek the help of the mysterious Wizard of Oz. Along the journey, she encounters unforgettable characters, magical creatures, and extraordinary adventures, while making lifelong friends with a Scarecrow in search of a brain, a Tin Man longing for a heart, and a Cowardly Lion hoping to find his courage.

Bursting with beloved songs, colourful characters, dazzling performances, and plenty of heart, The Wizard of Oz celebrates friendship, bravery, and the power of believing in yourself. Join us for a magical theatrical experience that will enchant audiences of all ages and remind us all that sometimes what we're looking for has been within us all along.

Please note: This production includes flashing lights and smoke effects.
