Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical JR. - The LJBC 2024 College Production

Lake Joondalup Baptist College proudly presents Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical JR.
Come along to our family friendly show and witness our gifted performing arts students ranging from Years 4 to 12. Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by the story of this special little girl with an extraordinary imagination. 

Rebellion is nigh in Matilda JR., a gleefully witty ode to the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination! This story of a girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the "revolting children" who are out to teach the grown-ups a lesson.

Running time approximately 80 minutes (no interval). 

Please note this show contains bright lights, haze and loud sound effects. 

The Saturday matinee performance will feature our understudy roles, which include Abigail as Matilda, Lucy as Alice, Calista as Hortensia and Michaela as Trunchbull.

For the first time, we are excited to offer an accessible show during the matinee performance on Saturday 23rd March, with house lights up and an AUSLAN interpreter signing during the performance.
