Llewellyn Choir and Sinfonia perform Durufle's Requiem
St Andrew's Anglican Church
Braidwood NSW, Australia
Event description
Canberra's Llewellyn Choir and Sinfonia have built an enthusiastic following based on their reputation for imaginative choral works and performances. This is their first concert in Braidwood performing Maurice Durufle's Requiem as their main piece. Led by conductor, Rowan Harvey-Martin, they will be accompanied by James Porteous on St Andrew's magnificent historic organ, with soloists Sonia Anfiloff (soprano) and Rohan Thatcher (baritone). The acoustics in St Andrew's favour great choral works, so this will be a memorable, not-to-be-missed concert. Tickets are very reasonably priced and we really look forward to this special performance.
