Event description

Join author Fiona Basile for an intimate chat about her latest book, Immerse, and her love of photography, community and the open waters.

Immerse is a stunning 144-page photographic book celebrating the beauty and joy of a special open water swimming community in bayside Melbourne. Amidst the seascapes and open water photographs, 35 inspiring swimmers share how open water swimming has improved their health and wellbeing, and zest for life, while fostering a deep sense of community, connection, care and gratitude.

This event draws links to our local open water swimming groups in Manly, the Bold & Beautiful/pink caps. This book is an invitation to dive in, to immerse yourself in the inky, deep waters, to join in celebrating the ocean and this special community, and all that it brings.

Books will be available for purchase on the day. Payment via card transaction or cash.

Free, bookings required.

Tea & coffee on arrival.
