Local Heroes - Charity Quiz Night - Supporting Jim Ryan

Join us for a special Charity Quiz Night to support Jim Ryan, the founder of Breathe Stretch Float, a wellness business he started in 2019. Jim's passion for health and wellness has been evident through his work with helping others, but he has been facing his own personal health battles. Diagnosed with Essential Tremor in 2008 and Cervical Dystonia in 2012, Jim's conditions are progressively worsening, requiring two life-changing surgeries; one in October, and the other in 12 months' time.

These surgeries come with a hefty price tag of $30,000 each, and unfortunately, Medicare only covers a fraction of the cost, leaving Jim with a significant financial burden. To make matters more challenging, the procedures can only be performed in Sydney, adding travel and accommodation expenses.

We’re coming together to ease the financial strain on Jim, a man that is a huge part of our community and is always readily giving to others, and help him get the treatment he so desperately needs. 

The Quiz Night will be a fun way to support a great cause — where every dollar raised will make a difference in Jim’s life. Your generousity will help him to regain his health, allowing him to focus on getting well so that he can continue his mission to promote wellness for others. 

The ticket price is the first piece of your donation, please just give what you can, every bit counts.

About the Event:

The evening will start at 6.30pm for a 7pm start for the Quiz. This will give you time to settle in, do some open networking and get your game-faces on!

Our generous sponsors have meant that we have some great prizes on the night! On top of the Quiz itself, the evening will be peppered with other opportunities to win prizes, have fun, and most importantly, raise funds!

The fabulous Pony and Cole are opening their doors to us, conveniently located in Hindmarsh. There will be charcuterie boards to share on your table, provided by one of our generous sponsors, and drinks can be purchased on the night!

There will be tables of 10 - so rally a group of friends, colleagues and family, and get ready for a fun night of friendly competition and changing a life!

For those that can join us - 100% of your ticket price will go to Jim's cause - so please give generously.
