Uptown Business Association presents a rotating acoustic performance featuring HINA, Geneva AM, and Jack Moser.
Set within the stunning Kāhui St David’s centre for music, which is a charitable trust www.KahuiStDavids.nz.
Each artist will perform a small selection of music, sharing the meaning and moments behind their work. This unique, hour-long experience invites you into the stories behind the songs.
Light refreshments will be provided (sushi, hot miso, and warm drinks).

Geneva AM
Geneva AM is the moniker of Geneva Alexander-Marsters (she/her, Ngāti Ruapani mai Waikaremoana, Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairoa, Aitutaki, Palmerston), an award-winning producer, beat maker and vocalist based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Her bilingual approach to songwriting has been prominent throughout her musical career, most notably with the band SoccerPractise (2012-2018) and her debut release, IHO (Waiata/Anthems). IHO went on to win Te Tohu Puoro o te Reo Māori (Favourite Song featuring Te Reo Māori) at the 2023 Student Radio Network Awards. In 2024, she released the single ‘T(M)2I’ (Tangaroa Made Me Ill) in two versions (Te Reo and English), followed by ‘PIKIPIKI’, which amassed over 200,000 streams on Spotify. Geneva AM’s vinyl pressing of ‘PIKIPIKI’ was also placed as Flying Out’s #1 best album for 2025. Geneva has recently been selected as a finalist for the Taite Music Prize 2026 and The Aotearoa Music Awards 2026 for her critically acclaimed debut album ‘PIKIPIKI’, which has been included in the top 10 albums of 2025 by Rollingstone Magazine (#4), Metro Magazine (#10). Her single ‘Urban Planning’ was selected as part of the Rolling Stone top 300 songs of the 21st Century (So Far). A seasoned live performer, Geneva AM has performed both internationally in Japan as well as locally in Aotearoa alongside Che Fu, Anna Coddington, Ladi6, Pan Amsterdam (NYC) as well as headlining the Tangata Whenua stage at Newtown Festival 2026.
HINA
HINA is the creative mantle of Tāmaki Makaurau-based songwriter Amy Boroevich (Te Rarawa, Ngāti Raukawa). With a sound described by Remix Magazine as “genre-fluid”, HINA has emerged as one of New Zealand’s most captivating new voices. This year will usher in HINA’s debut album, recorded live at Neil Finn’s Roundhead Studios with a seven-piece band and four-piece string ensemble. The record captures a quintessentially Aotearoa sound, flowing through indie-rock and alt-country textures with a dusting of pop instinct. With timeless songwriting and emotional bravery, HINA has developed a sound that balances complex feeling with plainspoken honesty. These songs were planted in the soil of small, unnamed moments. They are for anyone who has learned to live in the in-between, and are ready to find their way home to themselves again.
Jack Moser
Jack is a New Zealand pianist, songwriter, and performer recognised for blending technical precision with a powerful and expressive musical presence. His work has gained national attention through a feature on TVNZ’s Seven Sharp, alongside consistent performances across some of Auckland’s most prominent venues. A self-taught musician, Jack has developed a distinctive performance style that merges technical skill with emotional connection. As an independent artist, he takes full ownership of his creative direction, releasing and distributing his music across major digital platforms. This independent approach has allowed him to build an authentic and steadily growing audience both in New Zealand and internationally, while maintaining complete artistic control over his sound and identity.
