ABOUT LOCKDOWN LESSONS: KIDS IN THE KITCHEN 4-WEEK PROGRAM

Do you need more help in the kitchen? Would you love the kids to help out a bit more & feel more connected to family meals? Get the kids in the kitchen & taught by a qualified chef to learn some cooking foundations & gain more confidence in the kitchen.

Kids cooking in the kitchen should be fun & a really enjoyable part of growth & learning. The best ways to learn are by getting your hands dirty & letting your senses experience new & exciting things, such as a great foundation for gaining confidence in the kitchen.

Over the weeks, we will introduce the fundamentals of cooking, knife skills, safety, hygiene & the different techniques in the kitchen. We will be cooking as much as we can from scratch and talking about the benefits of using fresh seasonal produce.

Along the way, we will also be looking at ways to help the environment & what we can do in the kitchen to play our part. There will be minimal waste, opportunities to learn about composting and a BONUS video & lesson (if you get the package!) on “How to get a garden ready for spring?” that will teach you how to start your own herb garden for the family.
