Lockie Bennett Trio Plays Bud Powell

Lockie Bennett, a regular face on the Wellington scene, brings his new trio to Jack Hackett’s for a show celebrating the genius of Bud Powell.

Lockie will be joined by Sydney-based drummer, Tim Geldens, and local stalwart bassist, Elijah Mulheron.

The trio will present a selection of Powell’s most-loved songs, deep-cut compositions and the standards played by the great Bud Powell.
