The Lockyer Valley Jobs & Skills Forum is a roundtable discussion for local stakeholders, designed to support shared understanding of workforce needs across the region.

The forum will bring together employers, industry representatives, training providers, government and community organisations to discuss local workforce conditions, highlight regional strengths, and identify practical priorities to inform future workforce planning.

The Lockyer Valley plays a vital role in the regional economy, with a strong local workforce, significant agricultural and manufacturing activity, and a range of emerging projects creating new opportunities for growth.

The program will include updates on local labour market trends, presentations from key agencies and employers, and facilitated table discussions.

The forum is a joint initiative of the Workforce Australia Local Jobs - Wivenhoe and Darling Downs regions.
