Lodge Film Night 2026 - Run For Country
Description
Lodge Film Night 2026 - Run for Country, North Wollongong
The Lodge Environmental team is excited to bring another film night to life in 2026. On the 7th of May 2026 from 6.00pm onwards at Innovation Campus, we will be screening the headline film Run For Country, as well as a lineup of other nature films to enjoy.
Run for Country is a powerful documentary screening by our environmental not-for profit parter, For Wild Places, that tells the story of communities standing together to protect one of Australia’s most significant inland forests, the Pilliga.
The screening includes a live panel discussion with special guest speakers, offering insight, inspiration, and ways you can take action to support the cause.
Tickets are free. There will be a raffle, with prizes, and all money on the night going to The Difficult Bird Research Group. Our own Jade Smith is preparing to run a 50km Ultra Marathon with a fundraiser through the DBRG to fund research for the critically endangered Swift Parrot.
