Join us for an exhilarating evening with Lolo Lovina, the renowned ensemble whose name means "Red Beer" in Romanes. Fronted by the charismatic Sarah Bedak, a Romani-Gypsy singer with a vibrant blend of cultural influences. Lolo Lovina brings a powerful mix of Unza, Swing, and Balkan Gypsy beats to the stage. Sarah’s captivating and passionate performance is at the heart of the band, making every concert an unforgettable experience.
Having performed at iconic venues like the Sydney Opera House and international festivals such as the Havana World Music Festival in Cuba and the Guca Festival in Serbia, Lolo Lovina has enchanted audiences across Europe, the Pacific Islands, Macau, and the USA, including the renowned SXSW in Austin, Texas.
Their album, Rroma Sapien, received critical acclaim with a 4-star review in the London-based world music magazine Songlines. As well as features on ABC Radio National's "The Daily Planet". Lolo Lovina's music is a celebration of their Romani roots, fused with elements of heavy metal, tango, swing jazz, and British pop, creating a sound that's both deeply traditional and wildly eclectic.
