Circle of Friends: An evening with Natalia Lomeiko, Yuri Zhislin and Sarah Watkins.

Award-winning musicians Natalia Lomeiko (winner, Michael Hill International Violin Competition and ‘Premio Paganini’), Yuri Zhislin (founder, Camerata Tchaikovsky and professor of violin and viola at the Royal College of Music, London) and Sarah Watkins (three-time winner of the Aotearoa Music Awards Best Classical Artist) join forces in a programme celebrating friendship and virtuosity. Romantic repertoire by Brahms and his dear friends Clara and Robert Schumann, is juxtaposed by the evocative colourings and fireworks of Szymanowski, and Shostakovich’s charming 5 pieces for violin, viola and piano.
