The Long Table is dinner, with a difference...

Twenty people gathering around one table for an evening of good food, conversation and the chance to meet people whose paths they might never normally cross.

It’s for anyone who wants to widen their circle, whether you’re keen for some new friends, different conversation, or simply the kind of night you couldn’t have planned yourself.

Come on your own, bring a friend, or bring your partner. You’ll be warmly welcomed in, given a seat at the table and invited to spend a night outside your usual circle.

You might meet someone fascinating, hear a story that sticks with you. Gain a piece of inspiration or a tip, laugh more than you expected. Find common ground with someone you never would have thought to talk to and/or head home feeling accomplished and connected...

To be honest, the unknown is part of the magic. We don’t know exactly what will happen either!

What we do know is there will be delicious food, a stunning setting, no name badges, no awkward icebreaking games and no pressure to leave with a handful of new besties!

Come as you are and allow the golden thread of connection to do the rest!

Every Long Table Event raises funds for Taranaki Retreat, so while you’re enjoying a beautiful night around the table, you’re also helping us continue to weave that thread of connection through our wider community.

We have just 20 spots available, so bookings are essential and need to be made by 10th October to help with ordering.
