Sunshine Coast Chamber Music Festival - Long Table Lunch

Putting the ‘feast’ back into festival, the Long Table Lunch will bring together the culinary and performing arts, combining delicious produce from the Sunshine Coast region with the captivating music of Ensemble Sooon.

Settle in for a delicious 3-hour food and musical extravaganza, prepared by award-winning chef Michael Hehir, and staged in the stunning surrounds of the Maleny hinterland. Interweaving the much-loved genres of jazz and classical music, Ensemble Swoon will perform a concert that evokes the warmth and hospitality of chamber music’s intimate home settings of days gone by.

Ensemble Sooon bring to the table a sumptuous programme including works by illustrious  composers J.S. Bach, Albeniz, Piazzolla, Gershwin, Kurt Weill, Ravel and Debussy. Danielle Bentley and Martin Kay also explore classic jazz melodies with a signature warm style, souping up melodies with spicy improvisations.
