Longform Tool Kit
(half-day intensive, in-person workshop, Edinburgh)
A half-day intensive workshop examining different styles and formats of longform improv comedy, packed full of exercises to make your longform sets easier, simpler, and more fun.
This 4 hour workshop will involve a mixture of two-person scenes, group games, longform formats and short sets. Participants will be taken through exercises which examine:
- Recycling
- Game of the scene
- Theme
- Edits
- Group scenes
- Narrative improv formats
- Non-narrative improv formats
This workshop is aimed at people who have done some improv before.
Great for improvisers with little to no longform improv experience, and also great for seasoned longform perfomers looking to brush up on some core skills.
As with all of Will's improv workshops, participants will be encouraged to be obvious and to have fun.

About the instructor:
Will Naameh is a performer with multi award-winning improv troupe The Spontaneous Players, known for their Edinburgh Fringe smash hit show Spontaneous Potter.
He has trained in improv with some of the world's leading schools and instructors, including Second City, iO Chicago, UCB, Annoyance Theatre, Susan Messing, Keith Johnstone, TJ & Dave and The Groundlings.
As a solo act, he performs improvised hip hop comedy under the rap name MC Hammersmith. In this guise he has won multiple Scottish Comedy Awards, headlines comedy clubs across the UK and internationally, and has supported Jason Manford and John Bishop on tour.
He is a former UK Improv Smackdown Champion and has taught improv for groups, individuals, corporations and festivals worldwide.
