LOOM Storytelling & Pizza
Event description
Join us for the inaugural LOOM storytelling event: your ticket includes wood-fired pizza and stories.
LOOM is a storytelling collective three years in the making, founded by community artists Hayley Egan, Anna Dowd and Olivia Bernardini. We create curated storytelling experiences that honour both craft and community, working closely with local storytellers through weeks of fireside gatherings to shape their personal narratives into powerful ten-minute stories.
Each story has been thoughtfully crafted and will be told live for the first time, taking you on authentic journeys through memory, discovery and transformation. Guided by Persia Wildwood, whose decades of story work creates the perfect atmosphere for deep listening, expect raw, honest and utterly compelling tales from your neighbours and community members.
Artisanal local food, intimate setting, and stories that connect us across difference. Settle into comfortable lounge seating with freshly made wood-fired pizza as live music weaves through the evening. This is storytelling as cultural practice and social infrastructure, creating spaces where everyone’s voice has value.
Your ticket includes dinner and an evening of curated storytelling that supports Taranta Festival. Come hungry for both food and stories, and be prepared to laugh, reflect and feel deeply connected to the extraordinary ordinary people who call this place home.
Perfect for anyone who loves authentic human connection, quality food, and the power of well-told stories.
