Weaving on Rigid Heddle Loom
Event description
Learn the basics of weaving on a Rigid Heddle loom in this two day class. This is a great option for students who want to find out if weaving is for you, as well as experienced RH loom weavers interested in refreshing your skills. You will learn how to independently dress a RH loom using the quick and efficient Direct Warping method. You will weave a scarf as your class project. And you will leave this class with an understanding of basic weaving techniques, vocabulary and finishing methods, as well as a step-by-step handout so you can easily repeat the steps of weaving with confidence.
Yarns and a step-by-step handout are included in your class fee. Several yarn colors will be available to choose from. Cost: $120 covers both days, including use of Warroad Folk School looms.
