Event description

October is Mental Health Month. The past 18 months have been particularly tough for many, and this Mental Health Month is a reminder for us all to tune in to how we regulate our emotions and look after ourselves.

There is strong evidence to support the benefits of exercise as an effective self-care and soothing tool which is why we're inviting you to join Lifeline Northern Beaches to wrap up mental health month for a wellness walk on the last Saturday in October.

We'll be walking clockwise 8.6kms around Narrabeen Lake. During the walk, we encourage you to tune in to your senses – notice the earth under your feet as you walk around the trail. Listen to the birdlife and notice the changing foliage. Feel the sun on your back. Enjoy the conversation and the sense of social connection.

Adhering to COVID guidelines, we will walk in pairs - https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/greater-sydney#exercising-or-outdoor-recreation. We will also be mindful of any other COVID guidelines, so please confirm your attendance by registering using the link above.
