You’re invited to join Lord Mayor Nuatali Nelmes and local HMRI researchers for the Lord Mayor’s annual World Stroke Day morning tea. 

This event is an opportunity to hear from the Hunter Medical Research Institute about new developments in stroke research. There will also be an opportunity to chat with researchers in small group discussions and share personal experiences. 

Doors open 9:45am for a 10am start.

ONLINE OPTION - This event will also be streamed online for those who are unable to join us in person. 

ACCESSIBILITY - If you're attending in-person, the whole venue is accessible to people who use powered wheelchairs and there is detailed accessibility information on the museum's website. AUSLAN - An Auslan interpreter will be attending this event.

PARKING / PUBLIC TRANSPORT - The closest car park is the Wright Lane car park. The Civic light rail stop is a short walk from the museum.
