Lord of the Flies
Event description
A group of schoolchildren left unsupervised at the end of the world. What could go wrong? With no adults around, some try to establish order with the rules they know, and others seize the opportunity to make their own. As between play and violence blurs, and then disappears, each faction has to reckon with the cultural legacies of violence that they can't escape, no matter how hard they try. Directed by Jenna Roth-Smith and Lizzie Leach, this contemporary interpretation of the classic story asks "are we the generation tasked with saving the world, and have we been set up to fail?"
