Loren Kate with support Jack Carty

Wearing intimate stories and challenging life experiences on her sleeve, multi-award winning South Australian contemporary-folk singer-songwriter, Loren Kate recorded her new album 'Nobody Knows' with acclaimed songwriter and producer, Shane Nicholson in the Autumn of 2021. Raw emotion is front and centre of this delicately stunning 9 track album as Loren once again bares her heart and soul for the world to hear.

By taking a deep dive into some pretty sensitive emotional subject matter and emerging at the other end with a renewed sense of clarity and sparkle, 'Nobody Knows' is an album that is beautifully symmetrical in feel and reaches new levels of both song writing and production for the already prodigious Loren Kate. The understated simplicity of the acoustic instrumentation brings into focus the pure, vulnerable beauty of her voice and lyrics as she once again casts a spell over anyone fortunate enough to listen.
Renowned as a absolutely captivating performer and brilliant storyteller, don’t miss the opportunity to see Loren Kate live in intimate venues across Australia this Spring.

“Loren Kate is extraordinary – she brings warmth, tenderness and compassion to the world through her presence in both the performing and recording arenas. Her voice makes me weep with its direct and pure sincerity. Her songs contain a distilled spirituality and honesty that touch many, with exquisitely shaped melodies, glowing harmonic movement and lyrics resonant with deep poetic meaning. ” - Iain Grandage, Perth Festival Director
