Event description

Today we are all Los Fridos: students of Frida Kahlo in matters of Life and Art. Today we celebrate her Life and Art with a memorial service, with words and music; original video and music from Ivan Sun and Aimee Chapman; original artwork on a plaster corset from Ulises Resendiz; and musician/guitarist Raziel Gutierrez Soto.

This memorial service is supported by La Trobe Art Institute as a venue sponsor. All are welcome. This day is both the day of Frida's death ( 13 July 1954) and the final day of the Bendigo Art Gallery's Frida Kahlo: In Her Own Image exhibition.
