Lot Fourteen Weaving Workshop with First Nations artist, Sonya Rankine.
Join Sonya Rankine of Lakun Mara in a weaving workshop to learn traditional Ngarrindjeri and Ngadjuri weaving techniques. Create your own small piece using natural weaving materials.
- Date: Friday 21 April
- Times:
- Morning session only: 10am - 12pm
- Duration: 2 hours
- Venue: Lot Fourteen Bice Showcase Gallery
- Ages: 10 - 100. Children aged 10 - 14 will require parental accompaniment. *Parents will need to book a ticket too due to space capacity
- Cost: $20 per person

Sonya Rankine is a proud Ngarrindjeri, Narungga, Ngadjuri woman and business owner of Lakun Mara. The key focus of Lakun Mara is cultural revival and maintenance of traditional weaving techniques and cultural practice. Lakun Mara means Weaving Hand in Ngarrindjeri language.
