Event description

A collaborative, creative and immersive Story telling and Poetry Day Retreat.

A journey into the power of story and the art of listening

Learn how to collect stories from your family and your elders.

We will explore the art of deep listening, hearing, engaging, releasing, and healing through story.

Learn how to collect your ancestral stories from your elders. 


"We all have a story."

Just like the waters surrounding us, we will transform the space into an open channel, for all inspiration to flow in. You will be amazed by what you walk away with.

Arrive with an open and curious heart and no exceptions.

Travel:

Brooklyn ferry departs: 9:25am to Dangar Island / Returning ferry: 3:35pm.

Please bring:

A plate to share.

A journal and pen (not just a pad, but a sacred place for your writing.)

A preferred drink and your own refreshments.

Please note this will all be creative work by hand - please do not bring any computers. Bring a notebook or journal that feels right for you.
