A sex therapist and sex educator walk into a bar, and what do you get? Queer speed dating - but this time, we're going to Naarm/Melbourne for Valentine's Day!
This Valentine's Day, we are celebrating love in all of its glorious and juicy forms. Join us on February 14th at The 86 for a special night of queer connection, pleasure and community, brought to you by Love Club.
Our iconic speed dating event works a little differently than others, because participants aren't separated by gender, sexuality, or age. You will have the opportunity to meet each and every one of the folks that attend, to see if you connect romantically, sexually, platonically, none of the above, or a secret other thing.
We want you to create your own adventure by being open to whatever and whoever is on the other side of the table. Maybe you find the love of your life, maybe you find someone to parallel play with, to get sexy or snuggle on the couch, to tie up, to discuss your favourite fantasy books; it's all welcome here. All genders, identities, and forms of connection are celebrated at Love Club, we can’t wait to see how queer connection can look when there’s no pressure or goals attached.

What to expect: Name & pronoun tags, prompt cards, juicy performances, queer joy! Love Club has zero tolerance to disrespectful, threatening, or non-consensual behaviour. Folks who do such behaviour will be asked to leave the event and the premises without a refund.
Who to expect: Other folks interested in connection! While we don't believe connection should be limited by age, it's worth noting that if you have your own preferences, that our events tend to lean towards folks in their late 20s and 30s.
What you’ll get: New connections, low pressure evening, and the chance to win some sexy goodies from our sponsors.
How it works: Just like regular speed dating, you’ll have 5 minute rounds to meet everyone. On the sheet provided upon entry, you’ll tick a box for folks you’re interested in further connecting with. In amongst the dates, there will be performance breaks, raffle prizes and drink breaks throughout. After the event, your hosts will do some match-making magic. A few days following the event, you’ll get the contact details of your matches if the feeling is mutual. Please note that we will facilitate the initial connection and exchange of contact details, however it is on you to communicate your intentions whether it be romantic, sexual, platonic, or otherwise.
Accessibility: The event space is street level and accessible, with accessible bathrooms and various seating options. We will offer a mix of seating options on the night for those who use mobility devices, wheelchairs or need to be seated for any other reason.
