Love Letter to the Unseen
Description
The evening features the Queensland Premiere of the acclaimed documentary Love Letter to the Unseen, following youth conservationist Spencer Hitchen and his journey to understand the threats facing the endangered Maugean skate and the deeper meaning of protecting species that many will never see.
Macquarie Harbour, Tasmania, the sole remaining home of the Maugean skate, is at risk, but there’s still time to act.
Following the screening, audiences will have the opportunity to hear directly from Spencer during a live panel discussion exploring youth conservation, storytelling and the importance of protecting Australia’s unique ecosystems. Ian Mackay will be your MC for the evening.
