Love Our Awa launch day!

Come join us for our launch and very first Love our Awa day, where we celebrate our taiao / environment and our community coming together to protect the Waingongoro river system for now and our future generations.

10.00am Pōwhiri

10.30am Morning tea & kōrero about the awa & restoration project from Bayden

11.15am Learn about predators, pests and trapping from Luke

12.00pm Workshop / games stations

• Waka Tākaro - fun games for all ages

• Healthy Awa - hands in the awa (you might get a little wet!)

• Nature Discovery - become an eco-warrior

• Predator Free Kaitiaki - hands on with traps and pests

1.00pm wrap up, prizes & kai/lunch (lunch is provided - vegetarian available please select vegetarian on your registration)
