Love the Lesch Fest: Guided Bird Walk

Although the festival officially opens at 10am, we’re kicking things off a little earlier with a special guided bird walk alongside the passionate volunteers from BirdLife Bunbury. Morning is when the estuary comes alive — the perfect time to spot some of the remarkable bird species that visit and call the beautiful Leschenault Estuary home.

Whether you’re a seasoned birdwatcher or curious about joining the group and learning about the wildlife in our own backyard, this walk offers a wonderful opportunity to learn, connect, and experience the estuary.

Please bring your binoculars, wear closed-in shoes, and dress for the weather. Places are limited, so be sure to register early. If your plans change, kindly let us know — we’ll be running a waitlist to give others the chance to join in.
