Event description

Love Thrills is bringing their show to The Presynct, Nambour! And joining them on the night will be GoGo Bumhole, DJ Crockey, Boy Renaissance, Scarlet Tinkerbelle and Sofie deLightful

It will be a celebration of queer identity with Love Thrills covering their favourite songs and playing some new songs about queer love, hook ups, break ups and make ups.

Come along for a night of music and entertainment. Enjoy the delightful aesthetic of The Presynct whilst enjoying a cocktail.

About the artists:

Love Thrills is a Sunny Coast rock band playing songs about queer love, hook ups, break ups and make ups.

Gogo Bumhole is the drag gremlin that will entice, frighten and maybe even arouse you too. Gogo was birthed into this reality in 2020, and has slammed themselves onto every queer stage they can find including The Tivoli (QLD), Brunswick Picture House (NSW) and Woodford Folk Festival. There’s no stopping this hole on a mission to rid the world of “normal” and celebrate the freak inside everyone.

Scarlet Tinkabelle and Sophie deLightful are best friends who share stages, casts and lots of fun times. So it is with great excitement that they launch their brand new duo show, “deLightfully Scarlet: A Vintage Affair.” Tipping their sparkly hats to the bygone speakeasy era, they explore the racy underbelly of the prohibition era, which soundtracked the art of the tease with some of our most memorable cabaret moments today.

Boy Renaissance is a queer spoken word poet from Meanjin delivering epicly powerful, brutal and beautiful pieces. They won the Nimbin Performance poetry cup, made the shortlist in the QLD poetry XYZ prize and were a finalist in the QLD slam poetry.

DJ Crockey is the queer party starter! Unforgettable music, non-stop dancing, and pure fun.

Who knows where the night will take you, but it will involve a little too much red lipstick and blue eyeshadow. You’re in for a ride of some sort!
