Are you interested in saving food, saving money and helping to save the planet!

Join us at this FREE, interactive workshop to find practical solutions for reducing food waste at home.

From shopping to storage, and cooking to composting, workshop activities will include:

  • constructing a ‘ready to use’ in-ground worm farm that will turn your food waste into rich compost that your garden will love! FREE worms included.
  • a live cooking demonstration featuring creative recipes that turn your food scraps into delicious, everyday meals.
  • practical advice from three local, experienced sustainability educators.

This is a special opportunity NOT to be missed.

The workshop will be repeated on these dates

  • Tuesday 23 April 2024, 10am-12.30pm, Busselton Library
  • Saturday 4 May, 10am-12.30pm, Dunsborough Library
  • Wednesday 29 May, 5.30pm -8.00pm, Youth and Community Activities Building, Busselton Foreshore

Places are limited to 30 attendees per workshop.  Registrations are ESSENTIAL to assist with workshop planning.

Please BRING your own gardening gloves. 

A light menu of food tastings will be shared from the live cooking demonstration.  Vegetarian and gluten free options available.
