LOVING HER Sips & Strokes - An Event for Lesbian & Queer Women

LOVING HER is a social group, setup originally on Facebook, aimed at connecting lesbian and queer women across Melbourne and Vic. Were all about creating a fun, supportive tribe of queer women that have a shared sense of community, connection and belonging. 

We invite any lesbian, queer, bisexual or trans women, who love other women to join in.

Join us for a fun afternoon of SIPS (your drink of choice) and STROKES (get your mind out of the gutter... 😝, paint strokes on canvas!) as we take you through the process of creating your very own portrait. Get to know the person next to you while you sip on your drink and bring their personality into your final masterpiece. We'll take you through some basics in portait sketching, mixing colours and creating brush strokes, to help you produce a painting you're proud of. 

All art supplies will be provided and no painting or artistic experience necessary. Take home your final canvas or give it to the person you painted.

This is a mates not dates vibe... for creating connections, finding your queer tribe, getting out and experiencing community beyond the loud noises of a night on the town.  

This is not a profit making exercise. This event is purely created to help form friendships and connection.

NOTE: Sundaylicious is on in the city afterwards. For anyone who wants to continue on the fun, we'll catch an uber into the city to dance the night away at Ladida.
