Option 1 : Full day guided walk of Ships Stern Circuit (8am to 5pm)
21km / 8-9 hour walk (grade 4)
Ships Stern is one of the longer walks in Lamington National Park and is lovely to walk in the early days of spring. We descend past lookouts towards Nixon Valley, home of many red cedars and flooded gums. A steady climb brings us onto the main Ships Stern escarpment where we will stop for lunch at Kooloobano lookout. With the bulk of the climbing done, we follow the circuit back towards the main border track, returning to Binna Burra.

Half day guided walk to Lower Ballanjui Falls (9am to 2pm)
12km / 4-5 hour walk (grade 4)
The walk to Lower Ballanjui Falls descends via eucalypt and rainforest past the lookouts of Koolanbilba and Yangahla. We continue down through tall palm forests with some old red cedar trees to the base of the Lower Ballanjui. The waterfall is a great place for a picnic lunch. We return on the same track,
