Aquatic & Multi-Sport (age 7+) - LTS School Holiday Program - Bundoora - Easter 2024

Looking for something fun for the kids to do during the school holidays?

Come and join La Trobe Sport School Holiday Program and experience a mixture of aquatic games, sport, and fun activities these holidays at La Trobe based out of our Bundoora campus! We kick off the mornings with aquatics: tarzan rope, waterpolo, magic carpets and freeplay! Then the afternoon is filled with a selection of rotating sports: basketball, soccer, AFL, table tennis,  netball, rock climbing, outdoor recreation, tabloid games and more! 

The La Trobe Sport School Holiday Program is suitable for children aged between 5-12. The program runs 8.30am-4:00pm. Certain dates are restricted to children age 7+ due to the aquatic component. 

AQUATIC SESSION (age 7+):

Children must be able to swim 25m and tread in deep water to partake in the aquatic session. Children unable to meet these requirements will be issued a lifejacket. Please consider if your child has water familiarity and confidence in the pool prior to booking.

SPORT ONLY PROGRAM (age 5+)

This Easter we have two dates without the aquatic component, opening our program to children age 5+! On Thursday 4 April and 11 April our program will take place at our Sports Park where we will play a variety of exciting sports and games!

MEDICAL CONDITIONS:

Please note we require documentation to be submitted for any participants with allergies, anaphylaxis, behavioral support needs, or those who require any medication to be administered during the program (e.g. Ritalin, Ventolin). Please refer to our website for instructions.

GROUPS:

Please note we pre-allocate children's groups. We are unable to make changes to the groups on the day of the program. Your child will be placed in a group with their nominated ‘buddy’ designated at time of booking. No more than 12 children will be allocated per group.

Don't worry if your child does not have a buddy attending the program, they will be placed with similar age children!

DAILY SCHEDULE:

Below we have a sample schedule of what a day at our program looks like! Please note this is simply an example and the exact timings or activities are subject to change. Additionally, the sports and activities available at our program rotate and may change without notice due to weather, staff or facility availability. 

COST:

Single child for one day (8:30am-4:00pm): $70.00

Early Bird (available until Friday 1 March!): $65.00

REFUNDS, CREDITS & CANCELLATIONS:

• Please help protect our staff and other children, do not bring your child to the program if they are sick or have cold and flu like symptoms. 
• Please note a refund or credit will not be provided for change of mind requests.
• If your child is sick and unable to attend the program, you will be issued a credit to a future holiday program of equal or lesser value if a medical certificate is supplied.
• If La Trobe Sport is forced to cancel this event due to extenuating circumstances you will receive a full refund.
• If a refund is provided for extenuating circumstances it will be less the Humanitix booking fee. 
• Please contact programs@latrobe.edu.au if your child is unable to attend the program for any reason.
