A solo in the pit of crisis and transformation

Luck! interrogates the choreography of nationalism through a perverted study of folkloric dance, song and ritual process. A solo in the pit of crisis and transformation, Luck! performs a guttural dissection on the body of the nation-state. With hyperphysical rigour, the work appropriates gestures of regimentation and violence, only to render them flaccid and whimpering. If a movement is a container for intergenerational memory, can we trace the choreography of a consciousness in a dance? The agent of violence eats itself, in a declamation-cum-funeral-cum-degenerate group therapy.

In the face of state-sanctioned murder, and born from a river of grief, Luck! is a forum for mourning and indignation.
