SOMETIMES GETTING LUCKY MEANS GETTING LOST

Hopeless romantic Lacki flies halfway around the world from Slovakia to Australia for a Tinder date with a woman who doesn't remember chatting with him. When his romantic grand gesture goes disastrously wrong, he wanders the streets of Melbourne, discovering that sometimes getting lost is the only way to find yourself.

Lucky Lacki was directed by Joshua Machuca over 3 days in 2024 when Lacki was visiting Australia for three weeks. The film was produced with no script and was improvised by our amazing cast: Lacki, Chantelle Peck, Odysseus, Andrei Kazatchek, Cian Murphy and Ace Cruz.

Lucky Lacki marks Libertorium Studio’s debut film release, and we are so excited to finally share our creative output with the world!

Join us at the historic Art Deco Sun Theatre for an unforgettable night of laughs and inspiration as a unique perspective of the iconic Melbourne city is uncovered. The director and all cast members will be in attendance for a 15-minute Q&A following the film.
