Event description

ABOUT LUKE GREENHALGH
Luke Greenhalgh
is a jazz guitarist currently based in Brisbane. Influenced by the complex rhythms and harmonies of progressive rock, as well as the improvisational prowess of jazz guitarists like John Scofield, Gilad Hekselman, and Julian Lage, Luke has developed a sound that is both technically impressive and emotionally engaging.

Whether performing as a solo artist or collaborating with other musicians, Luke brings a fresh and innovative approach to his music, blending elements of progressive rock and jazz to create a sound that is uniquely his own. With a passion for exploration and experimentation, Luke is constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible with the guitar, and inspiring audiences with his infectious enthusiasm for music.

His band will feature prominent local talent; Zac Sakrewski (Bass), Dave Cox (Sax), Ben Teniswood (Drums) and Eden Armstrong (Piano).
