Canada’s own Multi-Platinum singer/songwriter, Luke McMaster, is back to spread the yuletide romance. With chart-topping Christmas anthems like “Raise A Glass,” “Merry Christmas Beautiful,” and “Christmas In Slo Mo,” it’s evident that the holiday season holds a special place in McMaster’s heart. Fresh off winning a prestigious Silver Bell award for best Christmas song (beating out Dolly Parton for the honour), Luke confesses, “I keep releasing Christmas music every year, and doing a full Christmas concert has been long overdue. The Aeolian Hall, with its vintage charm, is the perfect setting for this festive celebration.”

Through collaborations with icons like Smokey Robinson, Lamont Dozier and Felix Cavaliere on ‘Icons Of Soul,’ and ‘Songs Of Smokey’ Luke underwent a transformation as a singer and songwriter. These legends have been his mentors, imparting invaluable wisdom about singing and writing from the depths of the heart. This transformation has significantly influenced his approach to his Christmas music.

Luke McMaster, celebrated as the champion of blue-eyed soul in Canada, has left an indelible mark on the music world. As a prolific songwriter, his talents have graced the works of chart-toppers like Rihanna and Nick Lachey. In 2018, he crafted brand-new treasures with that classic sound for legends such as Lamont Dozier of Motown and Rascal’s founder Felix Cavaliere on the ‘Icons Of Soul’ album. His dedication to honoring the greats continued with the release of ‘Songs Of Smokey’ in 2020, a tribute to the legendary Smokey Robinson. The man himself, Smokey Robinson, praised Luke’s rendition of the Miracles’ 1965 classic, “Ooh Baby Baby,” to his 1,000,000-plus followers on social media, saying, “Amazing job, Luke!” Let’s not forget the smash hit from 2013 when Luke collaborated with pianist Jim Brickman on “Good Morning Beautiful,” a #3 hit on the Billboard AC chart.
