Luke's Story - Session One: For youth 12 - 18 years of age
Event description
We would like to invite you to a special event at the Community Hub at Gunida Gunyah. This event will be an opportunity to hear about Luke's incredible transformation from a drug-addicted, alcoholic bully to an inspiration to many.
Luke was an obese alcoholic, drug user, and self-confessed bully struggling with feelings of fear, depression, anxiety, and paranoia.
Despite facing numerous obstacles, Luke has overcome many struggles and is now determined to help others. He believes that we all share the same internal battles, such as worrying about what others think, living up to labels/expectations, dealing with past trauma, and not knowing who we truly are.
Luke's goal is to connect with you and hopes that you can take something away from his journey. He wants you to know that you are not alone in your struggles and that there is hope.
This event provides a safe and supportive non-judgmental environment for all individuals, regardless of their struggles.
