Luminous Lantern Parade

AMES Australia, in collaboration with members of the Victoria Square Precinct and the City of Melbourne, is excited to announce Luminous In The Neighbourhood Lantern Parade!

Come an take part in one of four lantern-making workshops at the Multicultural Hub in the weeks preceding the parade, and create your very own lantern to light up the streets of Melbourne! Construct your lantern by yourself, with a friend or in a team! We will provide all the materials and support you need to make something special and unique to you!

Then on Wednesday 14th August from 5:30-7:00 PM, join the parade around the Victoria Square Precinct and Queen Victoria market, and experience an enchanting evening filled with light, culture, and community spirit. We will conclude the evening with a delicious multicultural dinner from 7:00-8:00 PM!
