Luminous Life: After Dark

Unlock the Gardens gates for an exclusive After Dark experience in the Australian National Botanic Gardens.

Join our Rangers to explore what grows and what glows in the Gardens! Rangers will use spotlight and UV torches to reveal plants, fungi and nocturnal animals in a whole new light.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour start time, as tours will leave as scheduled. The garden gate will close 15 mins after your tour start time, late arrivals will not be able to join departed tours.

• Meet at the clock / flag near the Cafe bridge

• These tours will consist of an hour of decent paced walking outside. The routes will include uphill sections, stairs, and unpaved areas.

• Wear sensible footwear, appropriate clothing for our changeable autumn weather, and please do not bring a torch. Please bring a drink bottle and warm clothing.

• Tours will go ahead in all weather conditions other than total fire ban, high winds, hail, or an electrical storm.

• Any cancellations or changes will be communicated to ticket holders, and alternative dates provided.
