Start your morning with creativity and good company at LUMIX Meetup: First Light, led by photographer Simon Gregory.

Join us by the beach to capture the first light of the day, from soft pre-dawn tones to that golden burst of sunrise. Simon will guide you through techniques to work with natural light, refine your composition, and find beauty in those quiet, fleeting moments that make sunrise photography so rewarding.

Bring along your own camera gear and memory cards. This is a hands-on workshop designed to help you get the most out of your setup. You’ll also have the opportunity to try out LUMIX’s latest cameras and lenses and see how they perform in real shooting conditions.

After the shoot, stick around for a casual social hangout with complimentary breakfast. Share shots, chat gear, and enjoy a slow morning together by the beach.

Simon Gregory is a photographer who loves chasing light and real moments. With a mix of creativity and practical know-how, he helps others see and capture the world in new ways.

We run three types of events to help make that happen.

LUMIX Meetups are small and intimate, often led by a talented creator who guides a relaxed photowalk. These gatherings are about connecting on a personal level, exchanging ideas, and capturing the world together, one frame at a time.

LUMIX Playground, our larger-scale experience where creativity truly comes alive. At these events, you’ll have access to the latest LUMIX gear to try out in dynamic setups, with styled talents, creative activations, and unique shooting environments. It’s also where you’ll meet a range of inspiring creators—each with their own specialty—who are there to share tips, stories, and techniques.

LUMIX Workshops in both photography and video, where you can dive deeper into your craft, learn something new, and grow alongside a supportive community of creators.
