The PrimeSCI! Team is excited to welcome you to the ANSTO Australian Synchrotron! Learn how the Australian Synchrotron combines science and technology to produce cutting edge research.
Tour details
The 90-minute-long tour will explore this world-class facility that is able to examine materials at an atomic level and showcase the broad range of important research applications from medicine to biotechnology, advanced materials and even cultural heritage.
The tour will commence around a model of the Synchrotron where students will learn how the facility works. Following a short walk to the technical floor, students will observe how advanced light-based techniques contribute to real-world scientific discoveries.
