A Mother/Guardians-Daughter Menarche Workshop

Join us for an intimate and empowering workshop celebrating one of life's most significant transitions: a girl's first menstrual cycle. This thoughtfully designed experience creates sacred space for mothers/guardians and daughters to explore menarche together with joy, wisdom, and reverence.

Workshop Details

In this nurturing environment, you and your daughter will:

- Participate in a gentle womb meditation connecting to feminine wisdom
- Learn about the four phases of the menstrual cycle through engaging, age appropriate activities
- Discover the unique "superpowers" available during different cycle phases
- Experience a meaningful sharing circle where mothers share their first period stories and hopes for their daughters
- Explore personalised cycle maps to track emotions, activities, and self-care practices
- Learn how to assemble a special self-care toolkit for navigating menstrual changes with confidence
- Take part in a heartfelt closing ceremony honouring this threshold moment

This workshop offers a refreshing alternative to the clinical or embarrassed approach so many of us experienced. Instead, we frame menstruation as a source of power, intuition, and connection to nature's rhythms.

Who Is This For?

This workshop is designed for girls around ages 9-14 who have not yet begun menstruating but are approaching this transition, accompanied by their mothers or guardian. We create an inclusive space that honours all experiences of womanhood.

What to Bring

- Comfortable clothing
- A small meaningful object to represent your first bleed experience and what your hope for your daughter (this will be for our centre altar and can go home again with you afterwards)
- An open heart and mind

What You'll Take Home

- A deeper mother/guardian-daughter connection
- Age-appropriate resources about menstruation
- A cycle tracking tool
- Self-care strategies for each cycle phase
- The foundation for ongoing conversations about body wisdom

Give your daughter the gift of entering womanhood feeling informed, celebrated, and empowered. Let's create the ceremony and community that this profound transition deserves.

Limited to 10 mother-daughter pairs to ensure an intimate experience.
