Price $15 – $20 USD + BF + Sales tax Get Tickets

Event description

[The poster I posted says the wrong date. The real date is Saturday 4/27!]

You guyyysssssssss!!!!!! *nongenderly*

I'M SO EXCITED TO SEE YOU!!!

It feels like forever. We haven't seen each other since OCTOBER! It's too long!

We have a lot of new people that will be joining us this year. Don't scare them away ok be cool everyone. Freshen up your weirdness and welcome them in. Maybe we should have a broadway-style musical welcome entry number. No Kelly will never g

ive me a budget for that. But if she does you will not be happy that you missed it.

Ok what do we have going for our season opener besides the faire fam reunion of the year? Oh I'm about to tell you.

It's a Pink Moon Beltane party!

[Art by @piinkfang]

Because the Pink Moon is on 4/23 and Beltane is 5/1, we split the difference and went with a big ol' 4/27 Pink Moon Beltane!

That means the wispiest pink frock and crown of pink flowers you can find will be the strawberriest.

We may or may not have a bad boyfriend bear man effigy like in Midsommar but probably not for legal reasons.

Will we have a big ol' pole? We will have a big ol' pole.

Do you remember when we destroyed the patriarchy by hauling off the waggling May Pole last year? Well she's back. Yeah our May Pole is a girl.

Big fire show, aerials, and some new drag queens from the southlands

It's a new location!

It's like a half hour from Philly and Wilmington Delaware it's crazy! So many new friends!

    Parking

    No fee!

Isn't that great news!? Of course, if you have an opportunity to carpool or get dropped off, that's extremely super cool of you, allows for more attendee parking, and helps with traffic! :)

    Accessibility

This venue is a fairgrounds. The parking lots are compacted grass fields. There is a handicap parking section toward the front gate. The front area by the gate slopes upward toward the main faire area. Fairea. There are paved pathways around the grounds but some vendors are in grassy areas and barns. There are picnic tables and benches throughout the venue.

    Special Event Faire Packages

If you are celebrating anything (birthday, anniversary, recent unemployment, high bowling score, etc.) or just want to be treated like a VIP, reach out to kryssy @ lunarfaire.com to create a custom individual or group experience.

    Day-of Tickets

Will be available at the gate for $20.

    Season Passes

We'll have some of those at the gate too :)

    What to Bring

    • A flashlight! Some parts of the faire are dark!
    • Everyone you know!
    • Blanket Fashion! (good any time of year if you ask me but also great for hanging out)
    • Comfy shoes - there's a lot to see!
    • Your weird and/or witchy and/or light up garb! Or you can buy some at our merch booth!
    • Chair/blanket to rest your bones
    • A drum to drum on at the drum circle
    • A book for the magickal book exchange
    • Shopping bag, reusable cup, other waste reduction items

    Rain Date

This is an all weather event. The only reason we would cancel is if the weather is extremely severe or like the parking fields are snow covered but our blizzard wizard is on retainer to prevent this.

    Refunds

All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued or transfers honored for other events unless we cancel or reschedule.

    No Furry Friends Please

Pets other than service animals are prohibited. You may have seen people bring pets. Those people might not have seen the FAQs on the website or this part of the ticket, or the posts about it, or may be ignoring all of these. But please, out of respect to the venue, and non-pet people, and our insurance policy, please leave your furry friends at home. You will be turned away if you have a non-service animal pet with you.

    Children

    Should I bring them?

Depends how feral they are. If they are at least mildly civilized they’ll be thoroughly entertained and will remain undevoured.

    Are they free?

So you decided to take the plunge and make a new generation of cool kids. Nice. 10 and under are free (except some special events in which case there will be a separate purchasable ticket for them).

Do a lot of kids go?

    A lot.

I've heard this is wholesome. But is it?

As you can see from the above questions, people proudly bring their children. Without getting into a philosophical argument about subjectivity and moral outrage, this is generally a wholesome and safe event. People are friendly, loving, inclusive, and peaceful. But it isn't sanitized. The map might say "Long-Ass Road" and our schedule includes active and participatory spellwork and we do not censor adult vendor products (though most are not overt) We occasionally sell a drink that looks like blood in a bag. But it's non-alcoholic, as are all our potions. And while there is absolutely nothing inherently dangerous to encounter, we're likely always going to walk a line of "propriety." And maybe, as a result, pioneer a whole new unapologetic version of wholesome. It is up to you and your parenting style to decide what you personally find objectionable and what is best for your own children.

You might have your picture taken and we might post it on our socials. If that's a problem, tell someone.
