The Lunch and Learn Farm Finance – Beyond Basics is designed for farm business owners, managers and others who have a fundamental understanding of business numbers and common reports and want to build their ability to analyse their farm business numbers and make better management decisions.

What you'll cover

• How to engage with your accountant and bankers to create effective business relationships.

• Business ratios, what they mean and how to calculate them, including gross margin, breakeven and return on investment.

• What benchmarks are and how to use them in your farm business.

• Greater clarity around the accuracy of the numbers that influence decision-making and your farm performance through benchmarking.

• Financial knowledge and tools to better understand and address the unique risks, challenges and opportunities facing your farm business.

• Financial skills to strengthen and future-proof your farm business plan to improve resilience and prepare for future conditions.

• 4 x 1-hour weekly webinars

• 1 x 1-hour follow-up one-on-one coaching session per participant to go through your individual numbers, problems and questions in confidence.

• A participant workbook containing the presentations and activities worked through during the program.

• A business ratios template to help you calculate and better understand key financial ratios within your farm business.

When: Thursdays, 1:00–2:00 pm
