A coalition of Mallee services are bringing this FREE one-hour Lunch and Learn webinar to our community as part of the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence.

This webinar presented by Safe and Equal will help you recognise signs that a person may be experiencing family violence and provide some tools to respond and support them.

In this webinar you will learn:

about different types of abuse e.g. physical harm, non-physical abuse like emotional control, financial abuse and coercive control
how to respond safely if you think someone may be experiencing family violence
the different ways family violence might present
tools to support people who may need it
further information to access support

This webinar is open to everyone. Family and gender-based violence in our community is common. It is likely that people will encounter victim survivors or perpetrators of violence in both their personal and professional lives. For this reason, it is important that people know how to respond when someone discloses their experiences of violence, including in workplaces.

Together we can change the story and create a future where we are all safe, equal and respected.
